A breakup is the death of a relationship; A divorce is the death of the marriage; a job loss is the death of that paycheck, with those people, in that place. These losses all involve grief; however, the death of a loved one is often the most harrowing experience anyone can ever go through. Losing someone you love can be traumatic and life-altering.
